Nico, a 26-year-old of German and Swedish descent, brings a background in political economy to his pursuits. Several years ago, he became involved in reforestation and ecosystem restoration efforts, leading him to work for a non-profit organization and later co-found a startup in the carbon removal market. His recent role as a consultant to the United Nations Climate Division (UNFCCC) further fueled his interest in studying Public Policy at Hertie.
Passionate about mission-oriented innovation in the public sector, Nico enjoys immersing himself in local cultures during his travels, indulging in their food, music, and pace of life.
