Isabela Vera is a class of 2017 Master of International Affairs candidate at the Hertie School of Governance. Isabela has an ongoing research interest in disaster management and human security. She holds a Bachelor degree with Honours in Sociology and Journalism from the University of Victoria and has previously worked as an editor for alive magazine and programme assistant for GIZ Nepal.
