Mikhela (she/her) is a 2023 MIA candidate at the Hertie School. Originally from Australia, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Queensland. Her research interests lie in the politics of collective memory and emotion and how they influence post-conflict resolution and public policy. She spends most of her free time buried in a book or enjoying Berlin’s music scene.
