Melina, a Los Angeles native, is a 2021 Master of Public Policy candidate at the Hertie School. She is passionate about social equity and focuses on the field of A.I. implementation in the public sector. Melina has a diverse professional background in the legal, writing, education, and non-profit sectors. She holds B.A.s in English and Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys trying new foods, travel, and making new friends.
