Luciano Mejia Peroni is a first year MPP student at Hertie School. He holds a B.A. Philosophy and a B.A. in Languages and Cultural Studies, both from the Universidad de Los Andes (Bogota, Colombia). He worked for several years as a language teacher at the German school in Bogota and has two post-graduate degrees in education. On the side, he works as a freelance translator and interpreter. Recently, he decided to move to Berlin and start a new career in the policy sector. His interests are in energy policy, climate change and international organizations and cooperation. Luciano loves learning new languages, cycling, swimming and meditation.
