Rodrigo was born and raised in México, though during the last three years he lived in The Hague, where he obtained a BSc in Political Science and IR. His main academic interests lie in sustainability and development, specifically in the politics of land, food, and just transitions. Beyond the seriousness of academics, he spends most of his time playing chess, hunting for great finds at vintage stores, and watching films. This being his first incursion into the world of journalistic editing, he’s keen on collaborating with fellow Hertie students to capture their stories in paper!
